beyond the sTage

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a performer. Dancing on my coffee table to the songs of Disney movies at the age of 4 quickly turned into an ensemble part in my community theater's summer youth show of Peter Pan. Although there was something special, something comfortable, something scary yet encouraging about performing, I knew as I grew older there was a deeper reason why I loved doing theatre. Theatre was an inspiring, and often times breathtaking, medium for sharing our stories. Each actor acting as an emotional guide for the audience and sharing just enough dialogue and energy that the audience attends the journey with each character on stage.
